On Gunter the Turtle: A Photo Post

I was going to sew a hippo, but then ended up sewing a turtle instead. His name is Gunter.

He goes remarkably well with the doll I had made for an elderly relative in 2012 from a Joan Russell doll pattern found in the November 1965 edition of Woman's Day.

  1. Aww!!! What a darling little turtle Gunter is. Isn't it cool how we sometimes set off down one creative path (in this case, plans of making a hippo) and end up in another, equally (if not, at times, even more) enjoyable destination?

    1. Thank you! I think being able to go in all sorts of directions is by far one of the nicest things about creativity!
